| I haven't emailed Winry in a while, because...
Well, some things happened with the homunculi, and I ended up in the hospital.
I need a new arm again, but I'm afraid to tell Winry because I don't
want her getting mad at me over it. Then again, she gets mad at me over
everything else, too.
Al came out of it completely unscathed, to my relief. I'm just glad they didn't try to do anything to him...
Typing with one hand is really hard. *sweatdrop* I think I'm done until I can talk to Winry about a new arm.
Later!

| Finally...Finally got to a computer!! *relieved sigh*
Al and I have been really busy lately, and computers at the library
have been full (for whatever reason) lately, so I haven't been able to
get on to post here (It's all good, now, though. I'm "borrowing"
Mustang's computer for a while.)
Things have been going slow, slower than usual, and it's starting to
drive me nuts. I had some great leads before, but now it seems like
we've lost everything, and are starting over again.
On a lighter note...*sweatdrop*
Mr. and Mrs. Hughes had a birthday party for me and Eylisia two weeks
ago, and everyone was there, including Mustang. It was kind of nice,
though, and I got an automail care kit from Winry in the mail.
Anyway, it's late, and I shouldn't even be in here (Mustang's going to
kill me if he finds out I was on his computer at 1 a.m.
...*sweatdrop*), so I'll try to add some more later.

| Winry's been acting really strange lately, and I dunno what's up. I
hope she's not getting mad that Al and I are leaving soon. She always
does that, every time we visit and then leave, she's always getting mad
at us.
I don't know, maybe that's not it. I hope it's not. I've been thinking
lately - another reason we need to leave soon; being here with nothing
to do gives me time to think - and I started thinking about the time
Winry came to visit me in Central, and that serial killer kidnapped
her...
I was so worried about her, I went after him without thinking, and
almost got the both of us killed. But then again, she probably would
have been killed if I hadn't been so worried. I was so scared...I don't
know why. I guess some stupid part of me still wanted to believe that
we were invincible - untouchable - even after the accident.
I know Winry still thinks about it alot - I'm sure she knows exactly
how I feel. That near-death experience really changed me, and I think
it changed her too.
Well, whatever. I'm not going to dwell on it.
Al and I are going to be leaving in a couple of days, so I better start
collecting my bearings, and making sure I have everything before we
leave. I'd have to shoot myself if I left anything behind. Though, not
that Winry would mind. It would just mean we'd have to come back again.
It's getting late, and I'm tired. Night, everyone.

| Well, I went to visit mom today. It's been a while since I've talked to
her, so I spent a lot of time up there. When I got back it was already
dinner time, and Winry was still fighting with her computer chair.
Oh yeah, the computer chair - when I woke up this morning, it was in a
total heap. I swear I didn't do it, though. The armrest was all bent
the wrong way and- it was really weird. I think she knows I was on her
computer last night. Oh well.
Today was even more boring than I thought it would be. Aside from
visiting mom, and Winry's constant yelling about her chair not
"cooperating" with her, nothing interesting happened. I don't want to
pull Al away from home so soon, but I'm getting really restless. I need
to get back to work.
Pinako made us another great dinner - it was all leftovers from
Christmas dinner, but it was still amazing. That's another reason I
need to get back to work - get Al his body back so that he can have one
of her home-cooked meals again. I know it has to kill him watching us
all eat when he can't like that...it makes me want to starve myself,
just to share his pain.
Well, it's late again. I've really got to stop making a habit of
posting so late - Winry's bound to find out about me sooner or later
(that is, if she hasn't already.)

| Well, Colonel Jackass gave me some time off for Christmas. He told me,
"You've been working fairly hard, with little to no results. Even so, I
think you should take a break - go home to Risenbool for a while."
Heh, who would've thought that the Morally-Bankrupt Colonel had a heart after all?
So, Al an I hopped a train to Risenbool. To be honest, I was a little
scared when Winry saw us. I couldn't tell if she wanted to kiss me or
kill me! We sat down in the Rockbell kitchen and talked, Al and I
telling Winry and old lady Pinako what we've been doing. Winry did some
tune-ups on my automail, and Pinako made us dinner. Man, did it feel
good to be home. I missed Pinako's home-cooked meals, but I probably
could have done without Winry's constant nagging. "Oh, you know you
like it," Says Al. Feh, whatever.
I got kind of bored after our first day home. I guess I've really
started to get used to the city life. Al was happy, though, so I
couldn't have asked for more. Anyway, once Christmas rolled around,
Pinako made a huge dinner - ham, potatos, yams, stuffing, gravy - you
name it, and it was there. I stuffed myself like a turkey it was so
good! Gah, even thinking about it now is making my mouth water.
Then we all opened presents - I got Winry some automail tools from Rush
Valley from the last time we were there, Winry got Al a stuffed cat
plush-thing (hopefully it'll keep him away from the REAL fleabags for a
while), and she got me some travel-sized tools for quick-fixes on my
automail. Pinako got Winry a new computer chair for Christmas, because
apparently she was getting tired of using the kitchen chairs. It was
really hilarious watching her try to put it together, though. "Goddamn
it! What? I can put together automail, but I can't figure out how to
put this damned thing together?! *hits it with a wrench*" ...Yeah. Al
gave her the advice of "Read the instructions!" But then again, this IS
Winry we're talking about. The rest of the day we just spent having
some good, old-time
fun.
Now it's late - or, well...I guess you could say it's early. Winry's
probably going to shoot me if she finds me up this late (and on her computer...<_< >_>), so I guess
I'll go.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
